قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّي لا أَمْلِكُ إِلاَّ نَفْسِي وَأَخِي فَافْرُقْ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَ الْقَوْمِ الْفَاسِقِينَ
Transliteration Qala rabbi innee la amliku illa nafsee waakhee faofruq baynana wabayna alqawmi alfasiqeena
Abdullah Yusuf Ali He said: "O my Lord! I have power only over myself and my brother: so separate us from this rebellious people!"
Mufti Taqi Usmani He said, .O my Lord, I have no control except over myself and my brother. So, make a distinction between us and the sinning people..
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall He said: My Lord! I have control of none but myself and my brother, so distinguish between us and the wrongdoing folk.
Sahih International [Moses] said, "My Lord, indeed I do not possess except myself and my brother, so part us from the defiantly disobedient people."
French Il dit: "Seigneur! Je n'ai de pouvoir, vraiment, que sur moi-même et sur mon frère: sépare-nous donc de ce peuple pervers".
Japanese かれは申し上げた。「主よ，本当にわたしはわたし自身と兄弟の外は制御出来ません。ですからわたしたちを，この反逆の民から引き離して下さい。」
Russian Он сказал: «Господи! Я властен только над самим собой и моим братом. Разлучи же нас с (или рассуди между нами и) нечестивыми людьми».
Portugese (Moisés) disse: Ó Senhor meu, somente posso ter controle sobre mim e sobre o meu irmão. Separa-nos, pois, dos depravados.
German Er sagte: "Ich habe nur Macht über mich selbst und meinen Bruder; darum scheide Du uns von dem aufrührerischen Volk."
