O People of the Book! Now hath come unto you, making (things) clear unto you, Our Messenger, after the break in (the series of) our apostles, lest ye should say: "There came unto us no bringer of glad tidings and no warner (from evil)": But now hath come unto you a bringer of glad tidings and a warner (from evil). And Allah hath power over all things.

O people of the Book, Our Messenger has come to you making things clear to you after a gap between Messengers, lest you were to say, .There has not come to us a bearer of good news, and a warner.. So, now there has come to you a bearer of good news, and a warner. Allah is powerful over everything.

O people of the Scripture! Now hath Our messenger come unto you to make things plain after an interval (of cessation) of the messengers, lest ye should say: There came not unto us a messenger of cheer nor any warner. Now hath a messenger of cheer and a warner come unto you. Allah is Able to do all things.

O People of the Scripture, there has come to you Our Messenger to make clear to you [the religion] after a period [of suspension] of messengers, lest you say, "There came not to us any bringer of good tidings or a warner." But there has come to you a bringer of good tidings and a warner. And Allah is over all things competent.

O gens du Livre! Notre Messager (Muhammad) est venu pour vous éclairer après une interruption des messagers afin que vous ne disiez pas: "Il ne nous est venu ni annonciateur ni avertisseur". Voilà, certes, que vous est venu un annonciateur et un avertisseur. Et Allah est Omnipotent.
О люди Писания! После периода, когда не было посланников, к вам явился Наш Посланник, давая вам разъяснения, дабы вы не говорили: «К нам не приходил добрый вестник и предостерегающий увещеватель». Добрый вестник и предостерегающий увещеватель уже явился к вам. Аллах способен на всякую вещь.

Ó adeptos do Livro, foi-vos apresentado o Nosso Mensageiro, para preencher a lacuna (na série) dos mensageiros,a fim de que não digais. Não nos chegou alvissareiro nem admoestador algum! Sim, já vos chegou um alvissareiro e admoestador, porque Deus é Onipotente.

O Leute der Schrift, zu euch ist nunmehr Unser Gesandter nach einer Zeitspanne zwischen den Gesandten gekommen, um euch aufzuklären, damit ihr nicht sagen könnt: "Kein Bringer froher Botschaft und kein Warner ist zu uns gekommen." So ist nun in Wahrheit ein Bringer froher Botschaft und ein Warner zu euch gekommen. Und Allah hat Macht über alle Dinge.
