الَّذِينَ يَتَّخِذُونَ الْكَافِرِينَ أَوْلِيَاء مِن دُونِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَيَبْتَغُونَ عِندَهُمُ الْعِزَّةَ فَإِنَّ العِزَّةَ لِلّهِ جَمِيعًا
Transliteration Allatheena yattakhithoona alkafireena awliyaa min dooni almumineena ayabtaghoona AAindahumu alAAizzata fainna alAAizzata lillahi jameeAAan
Abdullah Yusuf Ali Yea, to those who take for friends unbelievers rather than believers: is it honour they seek among them? Nay,- all honour is with Allah.
Mufti Taqi Usmani - those who take the disbelievers for friends rather than the believers. Are they seeking honor in their company? But, indeed, all honor belongs to Allah,
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall Those who choose disbelievers for their friends instead of believers! Do they look for power at their hands? Lo! all power appertaineth to Allah.
Sahih International Those who take disbelievers as allies instead of the believers. Do they seek with them honor [through power]? But indeed, honor belongs to Allah entirely.
French ceux qui prennent pour alliés des mécréants au lieu des croyants, est-ce la puissance qu'ils recherchent auprès d'eux? (En vérité) la puissance appartient entièrement à Allah.
Japanese 信者たちを差し置いて，不信心の者を（親密な）友とする者がある。これらの者は，かれらの間で栄誉を求めるのか。いや，凡ての権勢はアッラーに属する。
Russian которые берут своими помощниками и друзьями неверующих вместо верующих. Неужели они хотят обрести могущество с ними, если могущество целиком присуще Аллаху?
